Project Tiers

Providers will be assigned to Licensed, Licensed Plus, or Approved Provider tiers. Assignment placement decisions are made at three different points in the application process: after submission of the initial application, after a desk review of the ERIS application and following the site visit. Not all providers will undergo a desk review or site visit.

At the time of the initial application, applicants who qualify via accreditation are designated as Approved Providers. All other applicants who are licensed are considered Licensed Providers and are invited to submit the completed ERIS document.

After the desk review of the ERIS document, applicants who meet a substantial proportion of ERIS standards are designated as Licensed Plus Providers. Depending on the degree of standards met, Licensed Plus Providers may be scheduled for a site visit.

After the site visit, applicants who demonstrate full or substantial compliance with the ERIS standards are designated as Approved Providers. Applicants who do not meet these rating criteria will remain Licensed Plus.
